Appearance: Nico is 5"8, with brown hair -color like that of a beaver's dam- that ends itself at the median of his forehead. He has brown eyes - like the bark of a strong tree relishing in the summer sunlight. Nico is smaller of statue and girth than most men, but his body is well built and toned from relentless practicing.

History: Nico was born in a society that would never grow to except him. When Nico was born the talk of the town was this bastard baby. Nico, nor anybody he knows has any recollection of his heritage. His mother gave birth to him on a a breezy free day at around sunset. After delivering the baby, she left Nico- never to be seen again. Nico's father was never known to anybody but her mother, whom was content to hide this significant portion of her being. His parent's surreptitious relationship was short, for it was a forbidden love. [Elaboration will vary via RP] After his mother eluded the town, Nico was taken in by the towns herbalist (Mid evil times). She was an old widow with an alien past. Her husband was never spoken of, never mentioned, never elaborated on and remained a mystery to everybody- nobody every caught her reminisce. Not once. It's questionable if she even remembers him herself, for her face portrays no melancholy of the past. Despite her arcane past, she has been a mother to Nico- teaching him everything she's learned in the crafts, magic - and to the extent of her "connections"- swordplay. Nico grew up learning the skills of life from Natalia, the Herbalist. Despite his loathing difficult tasks, the knowledge he learned was always consolation enough for him to continue his laborious learning. To this day Nico is still learning, though he is a master of these arts- and has far surpassed his mentor- he has yet to learn Magic. The magic of this world yields to nothing, and saps the strength from the user like a vacuum to dust. On his sixteenth birthday, Nico is privileged to learn that he may now be taught more than the lore of magic; He will be taught the ability to manipulate it as well.  

Personality: Nico is a very coherent man. (During his sixteenth birthday, he is now considered a man- though not grown) Nico is an optimist, he enjoys life and prosperity. He believes firmly in his One omniscient god- though he is still open to other beliefs. Grief is a familiar companion for Nico, for he has lived long, harsh days with hardship and dis embellishments all around him. Romance is alien to Nico, for he's never fallen for a bride before; But nor has he been a man before, until this day.
                   Nico is an overall optimistic person.

Weaknesses: Nico has the weaknesses of any mortal human's flesh. During swordplay or physical activity he is high in stamina and endurance, able to last hours in both- but not without consequence. Like a normal human, adrenaline can drive Nico to his extremes, but it is inevitable that he will have to stop. He is only stronger, faster, and smarter than the average human: not a god. (Though, yes, he is small) During times of strenuous magic usage, it drains Nico's stamina. Nico can not limitlessly use magic, and can not do something completely unrealistic (As far as fantasy goes: i.e move a mountain, shape the earth, throw a building, etc.) though it is possible for an intelligent magic-user to fabricate a way to do something very hard for very little energy (i.e Instead of saying "Destroy this rock" he could scry the rock and find faults or feeble spots, and widen the weakness, cracking the rock) It's a very demanding process, and is NOT easy to execute.

Weapon: A sword. Nico can imbue his equipment with magic, like that of any other intricate magic user (Following still with the extent of his strength and endurance). So the specific properties of his sword is whatever he'd like. Though the sword will always be a One-Handed balanced sword.

Other:  Nico is very ambitious.
